The training was conducted for the engineers from DPWH-ARMM from six (6) District Engineering Offices of Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Maguindanao and Lanao del Sur. Part of the training included field visits to the following offices for lectures and demonstrations on actual materials quality control tests, non-destructive tests on structural integrity of concrete members and manufacturing construction materias, to wit: 1) DPWH Region XI MQC Laboratory, 2) Freyssinet Filipinas Corporation (a pre-stressing and post-tensioning plant) and 3) Holcim Philippines, Inc. (a cement manufacturing plant).
